Do I need an X-ray before treatment in Turkey?
For veneers or crowns on healthy teeth, photos are usually enough to plan from. For implants, All-on-4 or All-on-6, missing teeth, old root canals or gum problems, an X-ray lets the dentist see your roots and jawbone, so your plan and price are right before you fly.
How much does the X-ray cost?
£50, paid at the scan centre on the day. There is nothing to pay UK Smiles.
How long does it take?
The X-ray itself takes a few minutes and you are usually in and out within about 15 minutes. It does not hurt.
What happens to my X-ray?
It comes straight to us. Our dental team assesses it and will be in touch as soon as possible to talk you through your treatment plan and price.
Can I send an X-ray I already have?
Yes. If you have had a dental X-ray in the last year or so, send it to us on WhatsApp and the dentist will tell you if it is enough.
