Your new smile is designed before it is made. With Digital Smile Design, the dentists plan tooth shape, size and colour around your face and bite, then you choose the shade, translucency, finish and shape with the moulds in your hand.

Your consultation is hands on. You sit with our team and go through the moulds, shade tabs and design options side by side, so you can see and hold the difference between shapes, shades and finishes. Nothing is fixed until you have seen it in your mouth, which is why nervous patients often find this the easiest part.

    Natural

    Centrals a touch longer than the laterals, softly rounded corners, canines with a gentle point and a smile line that curves with your lip. Small differences between teeth are kept on purpose: that is what reads as real.

How it works

How your smile is designed

Digital Smile Design is a planning method, not a gadget. It uses photos, scans and software so the shape and colour of your new teeth are decided around your face, and agreed with you, before anything is made.

  1. Photos and scans

    Photos of your face and smile, a 3D scan of your teeth and an X-ray. This is the raw material the design is built from, and it is done in Leeds or on your first day in Antalya.

  2. Mapped to your face

    The dentist and the lab set the length, width and line of the new teeth against your lip line, the midline of your face and the way you smile. Proportion first, colour second.

  3. You choose, moulds in hand

    Shade, translucency, finish and shape. You compare the physical moulds and shade tabs side by side and pick what you like, with honest advice on what suits you.

  4. Trial fit before anything is fixed

    The new teeth are tried in your mouth first. You see them, say what you would change, and only once you are happy are they finished and fixed.

FAQs About Smile Design in Turkey

  • What is Digital Smile Design?

    A planning method that uses photos, scans and software so the shape and colour of your new teeth are decided around your face and bite, and agreed with you, before anything is made.

  • How long does the design take?

    Most designs are planned within 24 to 72 hours of your scans and photos, and the team talks the plan through with you before your first treatment appointment.

  • Is smile design included in the price?

    Yes. Smile design is included in UK Smiles veneer and crown packages, and there is no extra charge for the trial fit or the consultation in Leeds.

  • Can I change my mind after the trial fit?

    Yes, that is what it is for. Shape, length and shade can all be adjusted after the trial fit, before the final teeth are made and fixed.

  • Will it look fake?

    Only if you ask for it to. The natural and balanced presets are designed to be undetectable, with translucent edges, a little texture and small differences between teeth. The bright, uniform look is one option, not the default.
