Nick’s story

Nick did not begin his treatment in Turkey at all. He began it in Leeds, at our UK office, where he sat down with one of our dentists and Selin, one of our lead patient coordinators. They took x-rays, went through his options properly and sent him away with a written treatment plan setting out exactly what was involved, before he had booked a flight anywhere. Both of them stayed with him for the rest of his treatment.

His own teeth had reached the point where patching them up one at a time was no longer worth doing. After talking through the choices, Nick decided on All on 6: six implants in each jaw, supporting a full set of fixed teeth, rather than trying to save what was left.

The work was done over two trips to Antalya. The first covered the surgical stage, placing 12 implants in total, and the second, once everything had healed, fitted his final teeth: 24 zirconia crowns in a natural design, shade A1, so the result looks like a real set of teeth rather than a perfect white block.

Nick has a full, fixed smile again, and a face that fits it.

Why it suited Nick: Nick was replacing every tooth at once, 24 crowns in all. A bleach shade on a full set can look like a full set of crowns; A1 keeps the result looking like a healthy, even set of natural teeth that suit his face and age, which is exactly what he asked for.

Like your own teeth, on their best day

Centrals a touch longer than the laterals, softly rounded corners, canines with a gentle point and a smile line that curves with your lip. Small differences between teeth are kept on purpose: that is what reads as real.
Soft

Rounded, gentle, friendly

Fuller, more oval teeth with rounded edges all the way along and no sharp corners anywhere. The smile line curves gently and the canines are softened rather than pointed. Warm rather than striking.
Hollywood

Square, straight, bold

Squarer teeth with straight edges, all the same length, sitting in a flat, even line. Corners are crisp and the canines are squared off to match. Symmetrical and unmistakably done, for people who want the change to show.

Each tooth is shaped with the small variations real teeth have: slightly rounded corners, a soft curve along the smile line and a little translucency at the biting edges. The result looks like a great version of your own teeth rather than a row of identical white blocks.

Why it suited Nick: With a complete new set, small imperfections are what make it believable. The natural design gives each tooth its own slight variation and a gentle curve along the smile line, so nothing about it says “fixed”.
