Ellie’s story

Ellie did not come to us cold. Her sister Alice was treated with UK Smiles five years ago, so Ellie had already seen the process, the team and the result up close, and had five years of her sister’s smile to go on.

Her own teeth were uneven along the edges and had yellowed, which stood out every time she gave a big smile.

She went ahead with a full set of zirconia crowns in a soft, natural design. The rounded edges and brighter shade suit her wide smile, and the result looks like a healthy set of teeth rather than a set of crowns.

    Squarer teeth with straight edges, all the same length, sitting in a flat, even line. Corners are crisp and the canines are squared off to match. Symmetrical and unmistakably done, for people who want the change to show.

Rounded, gently curved edges and a slightly fuller shape for a softer, friendlier smile. Popular with patients who want a warm look rather than a sharp, angular one.

Why it suited Ellie: Ellie has a big, open smile that shows a lot of teeth. The soft design rounds the corners of each tooth, so the smile looks gentle and natural rather than square.
